There will be guided tours of the African American Heritage Trail at 10AM ($5 donation). All interested please meet at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum at 9:45AM. This is a great opportunity to tour the trail and stay for the 2nd Annual Black Arts Festival on 22nd Street. This is a walking tour.

Community Cafe will be having a OneBlood Big Red Bus on Saturday Feb 25th from 11am to 4pm! Come give blood and get a free small coffee or tea, plus a long sleeve t-shirt from One Blood. Even if you can't give blood, everyone is welcome to come listen to the always-entertaining Bobby Mitchell! Free live music, free coffee, and helping save lives?? Don't miss it!

FRIDAY OPENING RECEPTION: The festival opens on Friday at Studio @620 with “Dancing Like Home”, directed by Joyce Guy. There will be a meet and greet with the film maker and many other artists who will participate in the street festival on Saturday. Opening at 620 1st Avenue So, Friday, February 24, 6 – 8PM | $10.

SATURDAY
On Saturday, February 25th Gallerie 909 hosts the 2nd Annual Visual Arts festival showcasing work by over 24 local and national artists, reflecting art from the African diaspora. This festival will take place from 11AM – 6PM on 22nd Street between 9th and 11th Avenue South.

There’s also a scheduled guided tour of the African American Heritage Trail on Saturday at 10AM | $5 donation - arrive at 9:45AM and tour begins at 10AM. Meeting in front of the The Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum.

Royal Theater will open for a showing of "Art In The City" at 2PM | $2 donation.

Free books for givaway donated by Keep St. Pete Lit during the Festival for our young people.
