Getting to Grand Central District

From Downtown St. Pete:
Go West on Central Ave. or 1st Avenue. North. District begins after you pass under I-275 street and goes west to 34th Street (U.S. 19). The district also runs a block south of Central along 1st Street South (a one-way that runs eastbound) from 34th Street (U.S.19) to I-275.

From The West and the Beaches:
From St Pete Beach (south end) take Gulf Blvd South to Pinellas BayWay, east to I-275 north and take the 31st St exit, left at the foot of the ramp on to 31st, north to Central Ave, then right /east into the District.

From St Pete Beach (north end) take Gulf Blvd north turn right onto 75th Ave. (Alt.19 A-690) across the causeway into Gulfport/Pasadena up to Central Ave., east to start of District at 31st St. Or take (faster) 1st Ave South (block before Central) east to 31st St., turn left after passing the YMCA at 31st St and then right onto Central. Ave.

From the North:
Surface Streets: US 19 south to Central Ave. in St Pete, left on Central to start of the District at 31st St & Central.

I-275 in St Pete, south to 5th Ave North Exit, down and through the light (you are on 20th St. at that point) to Central Ave. Two blocks of the District (including Haslam's Bookstore) to your left, 8 blocks of the District to your right.

From the South and the Sky Way Bridge, Sarasota, etc.: I-275 North across the Sunshine Skyway into St Pete. Take the 31st St exit, left at the foot of the ramp on to 31st, north to Central Ave, then right /east into the District.
