Hogs n' Dogs Events

Doggie Pageant
Starting at 10:30am

We are so excited to see your Doggie's all dressed in their favorite costumes as you walk them down the red carpet.

There are two separate categories:
Best Costume and Best Owner/Doggie Look-A-Like.

Get your entry in now as we are limiting the number of Doggie contestants in each category since we had such a huge response last year.

It will be a great time for both you and your doggie-show off your creativity and your doggie all at the same time!

There will be trophies and lots of prizes, so register today!

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit Tampa Bay SPCA.

Doggie Glamour Shots/Photo Contest
Every doggie that signs up gets their own "Photo Shoot" for the contest.

Fill out a form (name, number & email) & put it in the box.

Wait in line to get the photo taken

Photo's will be posted a week later until 7/28 on the GCDA window.

The pictures are all numbered & people are encouraged to come by & vote for their favorite pooch. There will be paper, pen & a box on the table outside of the GCDA window .
On July 28th we will call the winning doggie with the most vote's for a
FREE Doggie Portrait from Jeffrey Lee.

Hot Dog Eating Contest
Sponsored by Vienna Beef

Contest starts at 1:00 PM

Come and cheer for your favorite contestant at St. Petersburg's first annual hot dog eating contest. This is a fun event that should be as enjoyable for the contestants as well as the onlookers.

Contestants Include:

Mayorial Candidate - Scott Wagman

Councilman - Jeff Danner

The "Unknown Red Knight" of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club (comprised of current and former firefighters)

And Local Contestants-ready to eat!

Prizes Include:

1st Place - Trophy and $100 donation in the name of the winner to Alex's Lemonade Stand

2nd Place - Trophy and $50 donation in the name of the runner up to the Tampa Bay SPCA.

3rd Place - Trophy and other goodies
